Hi All
Great result yesterday, showed real grit and determination to get back into and ultimately win the game. Now if you were Gus looking at the run in how would you assess the next few months.
Now we are currently on 43 points (6 points clear) and my (personal assessment) below shows another 38 potential points in an ideal world giving a total of 81 points. But that doesn't count 5 key games in April which personally I'm finding hard to call. Walsall & Colchester away you'd like to think should bag 4 points (win at Walsall, draw at Colchester) but their bogey away sides for us, though hopefully not this season.
That then leaves Sheff Weds, Southampton & Huddersfield all at home...so, so hard to call. I'm going to predict 4 points, win against Sheff Weds, then draw/loss either way round against the other two. That gives us 89 points again in an ideal world.
April is so pivotal if we can keep the momentum going. Also have to say looking at the table this morning, fair play to Bournemouth who really do seem to be punching above their weight.
Would 89 points be enough to win this league ??
