I think we'll average a point a game so 50 points and about 11th.

Can I just shove in a quick moan that I always like to go to the last game of the season & won't be able to if it's Man U. They're going to have to swap Villa with Man U so I can get tickets. I'm going to email PBOBE in a min and ask him to demand that the fixtures are swapped. (y)

Just to properly jinx it, can a mod change the thread title to "blah blah (what it says): Road to Europe" ?

I fear that this campaign is going to fizzle out like a damp squid, and there'll be plenty of escape goats if it does.

I’ll wait until Saturday night to declare we are doomed I tell thee, after failing to breakdown the Burnley Wall

I read this as a confirmation of dates rather than predictions of position.

If those are correct I’m missing Man City and Chelsea at home thanks to work trips but can crack on with Newcastle train tickets.

EDIT - I don’t see Newcastle confirmed as 3pm Saturday on our site

51 points & 10th

Also not fully confirmed as the Villa game may move as they're still in Europe and could play that Thursday if they progress through the current round

And the City game could yet move to Wednesday 24th

I think the target should be to better the 51 from 2 seasons ago which is achievable. Considering that was an all-time high at the time, to beat it with the extra demands of European football and repeated injuries would be a big achievement overall. I'm going to go for 53 points and hope we might sneak into the Conference League.
