Don't give a toss.Have never watched a Royal Wedding and am not about to start now.
Fed up with all the hype already........Kate Middleton is rather tasty tho'!
When Chucky and Di got hitched I'd arrived in the US and living with 3 nurses as flatmates.
They were STUNNED that I went to bed and gave the whole thing a miss as a "sham marriage anyway".
I can't honestly recall why I knew it was a bullshit marriage, but I did and was proved correct.
This one will strike me as less of a 'sham' as the little info I have heard sounds alright as marital possibilities go - but.... I don't give a monkeys for whatever the royals get up to in truth - so will undoubtedly avoid this event too.
It's probably costing the taxpayer, but then it'll pull in some dosh from abroad so perhaps that'll balance the books
I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone, apart from close family and friends could care less. Still, it's a day off work. when Princess Anne got married for the first time, I go the day off which was my birthday - that was 1973, so about time I got another day off.
I will not be watching but some 30 going on 80 Tory bore in our street has organised a street party. From what I gather it's going to be a rather embarrassing, limp and amateur affair. I hope it rains. I'm sorry, but anyone who invites me to a party with the line 'bring your favourite tipple' deserves everything they get.
