Can't resist your snide anti-driving comments
Jesus Christ there was a massive thread on here a couple of months ago about it taking an hour to drive through Shoreham.

You of all posters can't call anyone snide.
Writing "wheel loose" 30,000 times and a pathetic snide comment when someone dares start a thread you don't agree with, 40,000 times, doesn't make for a particularly nice poster.

It's normally down to the act (within limits).

When we first played the Ropetackle we used to finish at 11, couple of encores and off at 11.15. Last time we played it IIRC we finished at 10.15, couple of encores and off at 10.30 (we played it for a good few years though). The average age of the act you're going to see will give you a clue
What band are you in?

Really? I always think that’s a strange old place. It should be right up my strasa but I’d always go to the Wellie or Old Star.

Piston Broke / Lazy Toad or whatever it has been called has always been a strange old place, combined with the smell of backed up drains and ladies facilities that are just not acceptable, I agree with you and personally I've always avoided...

I’ve never ventured in either. Looks like a very odd place.
