Isn't it strange how some dates stick in your memory? Did anyone else on NSC see The Rolling Stones at 'The Big Apple', supported by the groundhogs, on 10th March 1971? Forty years ago today. It was part of the European leg of the 'Sticky fingers' tour.

I was there, predominantly to see the Groundhogs. "Split" remains one of my favourite albums and "Cherry Red" one of my favourite tracks. The Stones were ok though.
