Do it enough and you might get hold of the money you're now demanding someone else to spend
This evening has nothing to do with strikers, everything to do with £50m players . . . Like their right back . . .and our 900k/£2m options

Yeah, but we still seem to have no strikers.....
But we still finished 4th from bottom with a £50M defender, £35M midfielder etc

Glenn Murray on the analysis saying what we all know and that is how badly we need a proper striker up top. As he modestly said it’s been an issue since he left. I trust his option over any ones including Bloom.
He made the point, rightly, that the difference Ferguson made when he came on was huge. Clearly he’s young and needs nurturing but we need a proper option up top, today emphasised as clearly as you could wish how the false nine who can’t run in behind or hold the ball up is not the option.

Still having the same discussion. There is no one on here who wouldn't be happy to bring a striker in in the next window. We can all see how the right player can improve our team. It is totally obvious.
The difference is that some of us understand the limitations we are working under and the effect that stepping outside this may cause in terms of team spirit. We also understand that we are asking Bloom to fund the gamble from his own pocket. We also understand that it is a gamble. Others obviously think that we are entitled to criticise Bloom for not chucking another 50 - 60m into the club and work outside the club's plan and strategy (which really hasn't done us too badly).
Getting called arse lickers for appreciating what the club have done and enjoying the fact that we sit 8th in the premier league is moronic and rather childish if you ask me. I guess any other reasonable and compelling arguments are going to be hard to come by.

We have so been missing that a proper strikers goal bullied the defender and stroked the ball in the net. It gives us a different dimension the Arsenal defence had it to easy first half. Surprised RDZ didn’t learn from the cup game tbh when Welbeck was doing the same and start Ferguson.

Very, very encouraging. If Ferguson doesn't get another 30 mins at Everton it will be very disappointing.

I think this is our massive dilemma. Ferguson has shown glimpses particularly tonight that he could come good. However, with Welbeck fit and the general strength of our squad he may not get the game time to advance

could see him starting Vs everton, may be better to ease welbeck back in off the bench initially. but of course, if ferguson impresses, he should keep his place

We talk about the tedious striker situation yet all the teams below us have less goals. Fulham above have one more having played an extra game. Manchester United have scored less.
Goals from last five league matches- 4, 3, 1, 3, 2.
It would be nice to have a regular scorer but those contracts cost a packet and the big fish take first dibs.
So we make our merry way, eighth in the best league in the world with no history that warrants it.
I don't lay awake at night worrying about the striker situation. I just think about how well this club is run and how much joy it brings me.
