Yes Andy needs some love too.Good man. He’s going to be dining out on this for a long time. I feel for the other guy who doesn’t have new-found Albion celebrity status. His ordeal seems for nothing. Unlike @jackalbion who has been elevated to Brighton royalty.
What actually happened to you both? I’ve only read media reports and your original post. Was it definitely Roma fans? Or more of a robbery than a football thing? Did they target you two specifically, do you think?Yes Andy needs some love too.
One of my best friends who I’ve been to school with and known since I was 10. An absolute hero, who did ultimately save me while I was lying on the floor. Here we are outside stadio olimpico, at the game.

Well I don’t know they came from behind (careful now), and stabbed us both blindside. I don’t know what they looked like other than the foot in my face. 3 lacerations in the arse, and 2 in Andy. They knicked his passport but nothing off me. Who knows, but my friends who didn’t get attacked reckon they were Roma fans. There were about 8 of us and We weren’t in colours, we weren’t singing, but we were talking loudly. A few mates did have Stone Island on, which police did seem to suggest may have made us a target, but maybe not. Who knows, glad it wasn’t worse. I’m happy I was stabbed opposed to some other people I was with, one is 61 years old and the other has a disability, so it could have been a lot more serious. Got to take it on the chin and see the humour in it at times, a crazy few days, but all in the name of watching the greatest football club in the world. Everything is covered by Travel insurance by the way for anyone concerned, a lot of thanks has to go to the British Consulate and the football club, especially some people working for the club who came to the hospital and got us entry to the ground safely. In quite a scary situation we got a lot of love, and made us both quite emotional. A crazy few days. What actually happened to you both? I’ve only read media reports and your original post.
