I was saying on the way out of the ground that Meridian would be creaming themselves over that game. Did they even show our goal? I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt. If we go to Southampton and get beaten by that much they will be the same and if we get one of our famous 1-0s they will say how undeserved it was!

According to Reading fans Kitson was blatantly shoved in the back.

According to Meridian Kitson was blatantly pulled back.

According to Kitson himself, to his credit, there was no contact at all.

Now - who would you believe?

they showed ckr's goal a few times and gave it the credit it deserves.

i hate to say it but kitsons interview portrayed him in a good light. he said that it was not a penalty and that he had swung for the ball and clashed into butters. he got off the floor and realised they had a penalty.

Shoreham of course
What do you expect from meridian, they always seem to wank themselves over Poosmouth and Scumhampton. The other one South Today wank themselves over Reading.

It looked like Kitson fell over to me (on the replay). Might have been given a blind side nudge?

Not a GREAT light though as he happily accepted the penalty.

I seem to remember Robbie Fowler diving at Highbury a few years back, and leapt up waving the penalty away to the ref. When the ref still gave it DESPITE Robbie say it wasn't a penalty. Robbie stepped up and missed it!
