This is a post from a so called Albion supporter on the forum sucktheref (ratetheref), a forum for referees to back slap each other.
I wonder if it's the ref that posts on here?
Unbelievable really.
'watched the entire game live (well I would, having been a Seagull since 1970, wouldn't I ) and I thought Mr. Barrott had a very good game. No errors on any KMIs, good positioning and fitness, good foul detection, clear signals, good advantages played, etc. If I wanted to be very picky (which I don't), I could cite two very similar holding offences by opposing players within a few minutes of each other. The Brighton player was cautioned (quite rightly) but the City player wasn't, so maybe a very temporary' lapse of consistency but a subjective situation. I think he can be satisfied with his performance (as I was with my Seagulls).'
