Keep hearing about the bloody bucket hats too. I'm convinced that some think that they were invented by the Welsh in 2022.
Still, hope they win today. Welsh fans never seem to want us to win and it must piss them off that the feelings of hostility aren’t reciprocated.

As a Mod, the bucket had is my preferred summer headwear. It predates Bez and is far superior in looks and effectiveness to the baseball cap.

Good for them enjoying themselves at a World Cup. For many it will be their only chance to do so and if they want to wear those hats then let them. They'll be telling stories of the Qatar World Cup for the rest of their lives and there won't be much to write home about in terms of the football on the pitch so why not let them enjoy themselves however they want to in the stands?

Absolutely, yes. But that wasn't my point.
It was more that The Red Wall is spoken about in such reverential terms (see also: Palace ultras), yet before the last tournament or two, I've never heard a single mention of them. They were simply "Welsh football fans".

Support them against England, Nadger. Always support the underdog, it’s in the blood, you’ll get no please from a predictable England victory, trust me implicitly on that. I know ‘Swanny’ will be on board with that. Come on Wales!
