The reasoning behind your username?

Mine is the name of a grumbling plant from an old 80s quiz show called "The Adventure Game".

i used to DJ and Kalinski was my DJ name. That came about as my Aunt used to call me Collinski (my surname is Collins). So i changed a few letters er could i be more dull

I used to find Raphael Meade's voice very funny. He shouted "Meade's ball!" in a pig-like squeal.

It was either that or: Maskell You Sausage.

I don't like my name, but once i had it, i didn't want to go messing with such a well-loved personality.

I always envisaged a Meade's Ball as a sort of classy, black-tie and tux affair. With masks, and sausage rolls and pineapple/cheese chunks (but only in an ironic way).

I've been called a odious toad on occasions, so I just tweaked it a bit. Everybody loves me.

As you all probably know before 'Seagulls' the club didn't really have a nickname. In the early 1970s they tried 'Dolphins' for a while (I believe it was chosen by an Argus readers' poll) and some would maintain we were called the 'shrimps' back in the 1960s - although that was never adopted officially. 'Brovian' was an even earlier attempt to invent a nickname and this was back in the 1950s (the decade I was born). It's a sort-of portmanteau word from Brighton and Hove. Obviously it never caught on, otherwise today we'd all be shouting "Brovians! Brovians!"

Although born in Buckingham road Brighton it was always imperative for our neighbours to emphazie to anyone who would listen that they were pure Hove and not from Brighton the latter part is due to the fact that I lived in Hangelton and Hove Kingsway for 28 years before I moved to Preston Circus

Mine is the name of my favourite character in Joseph Heller's classic novel 'Catch 22' with whom I share a passion for, and fascination with, women, photography and illness.

I used to be Phaedrus but changed that after getting confused with a certain other chap with a similar username who's not very popular due to his love of Pende.

Biscuit has long been my nickname nut some bugger had nicked it when the new NSC opened its doors.

I decided to think of something inanimate that I liked and fruitjuice came to mind, which I then decided to tweak to make relevant to BHA. Blue&Whitejuice didn't really have a ring to it so it became Bluejuice.

I have subsequently learned it is also the name of a surfing film starring Catherine Zeta Jones

Mine is an abreviation of my last name (that can only be pronounced correctly if you have a forked tongue!)

I've been known as Lammy by my mates for as long as I can remember!
