I wonder if we should all meet up on Hove Lawns during the summer and have a practice Luzzing session? Maybe Donatellos might donate some of their outdoor lightweight aluminium seating as training equipment?
Don’t forget the shorts, white trainers and ability to turn and run like mad after luzzing, or apologising to the mate you have hit with said luzzed chair that flew a paltry few metres, and of course the person who was sitting on it.

Is this the Italian Job one? If so - the telly always shows it, and the commentators always say something along the lines of the bond between fans and manager/team. So - it works for that.
It definitely works, it is a great flag it really is.

But what the flag needs is everyone going "I hope I get a chance to pull it and it goes over us" with many hands eager to pull at it, not arms folded "I don't want that coming over me and blocking my view"....

With Jnr defying science by aging and regressing at the same time, next season the North Stand will be considerably less follicly challenged.

I will be booooooooing those who's flagmanship is lacking - although not touching the thing myself.

Meh, in Europe we have different style of tifos, that don't involve passing around those big club flags you pass around in the PL before the matches, so it won't be much of an issue if you all dress in your colors and wave scarves

I propose everyone in the North gathers on Brighton beach for a day this summer to practise
Here in Preston Park we've already started weekly practice. After Wine Club we have an hour booked in the church hall across the road from the park. Check out my wrist action!

We will fail in Europe because our signing is too fast. 2 players have already stated it as the reason they will leave.

We will fail because we don't have a CUSTOM TYPEFACE for our shirts. All the cool kids are doing it.

If Barber sticks DIN on the back of our shirts I am going to call the police.

A big flag, cringeworthy? I’m puzzled by the use of that word on here at times. I shit myself in the Co Op once, that’s cringeworthy.
Can't think of anything more cringeworthy than shopping at the Meridian Centre Co-op.

I might have been a little cringed at shitting myself too. But I could probably have coped with that part.

I'm a little bit embarrassed by our flag compared to what Newcastle, Forest, Arsenal and others offer. Ours is so small that it looks like a bit like a beach towel. I know it cost a lot of money and the club wouldnt pay for it so fans donated etc etc, but having witnessed it a few times from the West Stand, I'm beginning to think it looks a bit, dare I say it, tinpot
I agree . Watched it from the Lower East on Sunday and it is way too small.
Can’t even see the picture or words clearly.

Should be 3 times the size minimum, or not bother with it.

Not the owner.
Not management .
Not recruitment.
Not the players, no

the reason is our Giant Flag Energy is atrocious.

It wanders around the NS like a drink sailor on shore leave.
More bunches than class photo day.
All the timing of an only child who has an appointment.

We've got the summer to get Europa League Ready or we might as well not bother at all
You bugger :lolol:

We need LOADS of flags, all different and relatively BIG. That always looks far better anyway. This is the way. I have set the BLUE print. And literally put my money where my mouth is.

Now crack on and make it happen everyone.

This feels like a topic that might be worthy of a thread of it's own in the post-season content abyss. I'll save my discovery of the unpredictability of food poisoning while on a train somewhere between Egham and Chertsey until then.

Maybe we could practice some flag action tomorrow night by copying Man City and their digital fan flags?

(Both the phrases "copying Man City" and "digital fan flags" made me sick up a little bit)
