hmmm thought it looked bad but worst thing? Worse than the recent Dawn French abomination? Surely this is not possible.

It's what BBC 3 passes for 'Comedy' the main problem being that the producers there have no sense of humour.

So that would explain why Gavin and Stacey wasn't a success then!

They do different things to see if they work and whether they can move to mainstream. Take Being Human as a good example as well as the aforementioned Gavin and Stacey.

So you don't like this latest programme, big deal. There is bound to be comedy you like that others don't.

Gavin and Stacey was pretty much the exception that proves the rule, most of what passes for comedy on BBC 3 never gets a second series, the reason being is that the quality is so poor. The only other funny thing on there is Family Guy but obviously the BBC don't produce that.

I think it's good.

Not sure why people slag off BBC3, like any channel it has it’s shit but it produces some pretty decent programs.

Both BBC 3 and BBC 4 have a lot of quality programs but sadly comedy is not their forte.

I understand that I am going out on a limb on this one, but I really don't get Family Guy - it just completely passes me by. Lazy derivative TV,would be my description but I seem to be in the minority on this one.

the BBC 3 comedy is very hit and miss. depends on your sence of humour and age group. i see Him and Her as being Royal Family meets 20-somthings skivers. maybe you have to be closer to the target age group

I really enjoyed ideal and lead balloon and a few others but I can't really defend two pints of larger.

The king is dead is alot worse!

The thing about BBC comedy is that clearly different people see different things, I find Family Guy very funny but I can also see how some people can't. However a lot of the comedy is patchy at best.
