I have been torn as to who to pick next as i have so many options and know that most will go soon. I have decided to bring in a defender as this area seems to be the one with the fewest quality options after may shortlist.

My next pick plays as a centre-back, though he has played in various other positions across the defensive line, including left-back. He won promotion to Premier League in 2003.

He moved to Premier League side Everton for a total of £5 million in August 2006. He was voted player's Player of the Season by his teammates in the following two seasons

He moved to Manchester City in August 2009 for a reported £22 million, and spent five seasons at the club, winning two league titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup. During his time at City he formed a formidable defensive pairing with Vincent Kompany (keeping Kolo Toure out of the side) and was one of the key components of the side, starting all but seven league fixtures in the title-winning campaign of 2011/12.

His honours:
Wolverhampton Wanderers
Football League First Division play-offs: 2002–03[35]

Manchester City
Premier League: 2011–12, 2013–14
FA Cup: 2010–11[42]
Football League Cup: 2013–14

Don't mind if I do. Who better to come off the bench than the joint top scorer of headed goals in Premier League history? By the time the draft is finished he may even moved ahead of Alan Shearer. He fills a few categories, and came up with one of the best comments by a footballer ever (Interviewer: "What would you be if you weren't a footballer?" Answer: "a virgin".)

It's Peter Crouch, and what a photo, by the way!

Having landed the nightshift again, I'm now awake and thankfully able to pick without having missed out.

I'm going to work on my defence and I'm going to do it with a veteran of my World XI team - VEDRAN CORLUKA

Gazwag still has two picks to make next.

On the bench is a player who has made 383 premier league appearances for four different clubs. He is a defensive midfielder who has made a handful of appearances for Holland.

Its George Boateng

Next comes a player who is currently close to home, he is number 14 on the all time premier league matches player list having played for Newcastle, Villa and Fulham. He was part of the QPR squad who won promotion last season before become Hyypia's first signing for us in July 2014 when he was unfurled at the fans barbecue on the Spain tour.

Has made a massive 455 premier league appearances for Newcastle, Villa and Fulham as well as 94 appearances for his country.

He is second only to Ryan Giggs for playing the greatest number of premier league matches without getting sent off.

Its Aaron Hughes

My next signing is a bit of a contradiction - on one hand he's scored more OGs than anyone else in Premier League history and has been sent off the joint-most amount of times, but on the other he was Man City's Player of the Year 4 times before being shoved out when the money came, and has represented his country 80 times.

Its RICHARD DUNNE.

My next pick is the perfect squad player, who can slot in across the defence and midfield and do an excellent job wherever he's asked to play. He's won the Cameroon league, La Liga, two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, two League Cups, and two Champions Leagues. He's been relegated from and promoted to the Premier League with Newcastle, he was once described (along with Steve McMananaman) as 'the heartbeat' of Real Madrid by no less a figure than Vicente Del Bosque. He's won 118 caps for Cameroon, winning an Olympic Gold Medal and two African Cup of Nations titles.

I think that's enough to be getting on with, it's Geremi!

Sorry for my late pick...

For this pick, and to be on my bench, I wanted to pull a player completely out of nowhere, who a lot of pundits and generally people who knew nothing about football alike branded as a flop... actually, his record wasn't too bad as a striker in the Premier League (1 in 3) and as a backup striker I am more than happy with that ratio.

I give you SAVO MILOSEVIC

I did PM JOLovegrove earlier as I know he has been busy with his studies of late.

My next pick is only 23 years old, but has drawn many comparisons to well-established players Mesut Özil and fellow Brazilian teammate Kaká due to his playmaking abilities. A superb dribbler, he is very fluid and creative in his runs. As a playmaker, he has great vision and is able to deliver the precise pass to his teammates. he is extremely effective in building up play in areas higher up the pitch and his cunning runs as well as skillful short range passing make him a threat in and near the opponent's box. Although he typically played in central attacking midfield for Internacional, since his transfer to Chelsea, he has been deployed as in all three attacking midfield positions behind the central striker. Known for his vision for picking out teammates in tight positions and carving out chances in difficult situations, he acts as the catalyst in Chelsea's attack, and was widely praised for his role in the team's Europa League success in 2013. Under José Mourinho, he has been used as Chelsea's primary playmaker. His flexibility of being able to play in wider positions is also admired. his ability to press opponents high up the pitch has made him a favorite of Mourinho.

He is the first player to score a hat-trick in the FIFA U-20 World Cup final. This performance was immediately compared to the 1966 hat trick by Geoff Hurst as only the second time a single player scored three goals in a World Cup final match.

Despite being only 23, he has already played 43 times for Brazil, scoring 11 goals and at World Cup 2014, he was one of only two Brazilians included in the Team of the Tournament.
