They said the lino is now redundant on goal line decisions .... his judgement has no say.

That said and we agree a lot the lino has a tongue. Ref I'm sure that went over can we not look idiots and get it check properly?

If officialdom wasn't bad enough already, its got worse since VAR . . . Theyre scared of making decisions for fear of being over ruled.

Linesmen are now pointless and its 50/50 if we bother with refs . . . . Game looks like a kick about in the park, and frankly may as well be

Technology is only as good as the idiot designing and fitting it

That could be a massive turning point for both teams' seasons. Villa in their attempts to stay up and Sheff Utd in their pursuit of a European place.

VAR has been pretty shit this season but I think that's probably trumped it.

It doesn’t give you much confidence in the system does it.

Full inquiry needed. I bet someone forgot to turn something on which communicates with the ref

Obviously, new VAR rules, it has to be 2 metres over the line.

Yeah. Missed that change. Five subs, drinks breaks, and the ball has to actually hit the back of the net to count as a goal.

I bet the ref and Lino don’t even look to see if the ball crosses the line now, relying 100% on technology
