Murray 68 votes.
Andone 95 votes.

Murray - 13 premier league goals this season. As many as Lacazette.
Andone - 3 premier league goals this season.

Burn more votes than Montoya...

See - this is because you didn't clearly set out the context for voting. Are they 'good enough?' for WHAT?

In the absence of that, I answered as 'are they good enough for their CURRENT roles?'

As such I voted that yes, Burn IS good enough, to be a back up CB, and that no, Montoya is NOT good enough to be our starting right back.

It doesn't follow that I think Burn is necessarily BETTER than Montoya...

I'm sorry for letting everyone down.

Leave things to the future Manager as he knows more.

That doesn't make for a very interesting message board.

Well okay. First off, I wouldn't ship out the new signings until I see them under a new manager/system. The only players I would let go right now would be Knockaert and Stephens as I feel the rest are good enough.

So beloved manager gets sacked and the players that carry the can are Knockaert and Stephens, while Locadia and Jahanbaksh get another chance? I can't see that doing much for team morale.

I think a lot of the problem with this is about people deciding what their role is.

Take Glenn. Is he good enough to be our #1 striker next season? No, I'd argue he's not, and the second half of this season has proved it. However is he good enough to be our third choice striker and potential "impact" sub for the last 15 minutes if we need a goal and want someone to lump it up to? Yes, absolutely, for another season anyway.

Then he is 'good enough'.

What this really highlights is that we only have 5/6 players that are universally deemed worth a place in the squad. Imho that is surprising.
Edit: maybe Gross and Propper too.

100 votes up and my bedtime.
Dunk - 99 votes.
Duffy - 98
Yves - 94
Bernardo and March - 90
Ryan - 87...
But apart from those seriously heavy hitters? Not much.
Maybe Hughton wasn't so bad....
I've said on other threads I'd like to see the team built around these 6 players. Recruit 5 more quality starters and complete the squad with Walton, Button, Montoya, Bong, Burn, Balogun, Stephens, Propper, Knocky, Izqueirdo, Ali J, Murray, Andone, Locadia. Sell Kayal.

Whether the budget runs to this I don't know! If not, sell Locadia and Ali J and cut our losses.
