Blimey, maybe doesn't hope to be here in 5 years after all then. Shame as I was getting quite into his 'we're not done yet' monologue.
Great interview though, always comes across well.

Why was he interviewed? Surely he should've said, I have a great job at Brighton, so thanks, but no thanks!

Maybe he should but last year we were not Premier League. After all, he is an employee not a fan. Can't blame him for seeing what is out there. At the end of the day he turned them down.

I would have thought they'd do a round of interviews and choose the best candidate. Makes more sense than Barbs doing the interview then saying "nah y'alright" surely?

You could be right but I still wouldn't blame him for seeing what's out there. We know he is an ambitious man but fact is he is still with us. Long may it remain.
