We get to see PALACE in giant letters. Can you guess why I prefer Brighton Pier.

Better than nothing I guess.

Now all we need is whopping great signage highlighting THE LANES and NORTH LAINE.

In a week of great politically uncertainty this is a small glimmer of hope.

The small print says the the pier will be know as 'Brighton Palace Pier'.

It's always been the Palace Pier, nothing to do with pikeys, something to do with it being palacial when it was built I suspect.
I know I live in the past, I still give directions to the dolphinarium ???

'Brighton Palace Pier' is a bit of a mouthful. They want designs for the sign- any ideas?

Nothing to do with it being next to a palace then?

A £1 entry fee from 25 May.

Iirc there was a charge when I were a lad.

The admission fee will not apply to Brighton residents who have a Brighton Palace Pier local residents card.
