Since my plan about studying in Brighton this fall depends on Graham Potter coaching the team next season, I would indeed appreciate a win very much.

Sheff Utd away is tough and I think realistically we’d accept 1 point now.

But Palace. At home, one of those weird 12:30 kick offs.

What a win this could be. We’re playing them at the right time to drag them right into relegation. Some silky Potterball again, exactly how we dominated them at Selhurst. We humiliated them last time. This time we take our chances.

Even Potters critics would be won over after a big famous win. Roy announces he’s retiring.

Just wanted to put a positive spin on things. We’re not down yet. Have faith in GP.

My OP was remarkably prescient regards the point at Sheff U.

Let’s hope the second part of my prediction comes true.

Well they’ve just won, won’t get sucked into the relegation scrap now and Roy is getting a new contract apparently.........so overall it was remarkably not prescient [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

That's a big deal to hang on whether a football manager will be at a team or not next season.

Well, I'm horny for a foreign adventure (for half a year or a year) and would go for Brighton if Potter is still there.

The University of Gothenburg got some courses in Brighton, and since Swedish universities are free (if you are a Swede) its not a big deal economically either.

It's pivotal as to whether we make 30 points by the end of February or not.

Psychologically it's almost a stay up go down game. . . I know there's plenty more to play for after, but how deflated will some players be if we lose at home to Crapsral Palarse?

The lads will be fired up for this one and we will win as we usually do against Palarse! Have faith.

Our form vs Palace has been decent for a few seasons now... which worries me :-(

Gothenburg is great. Played there in the Sofar Sounds festival last year, bloody hot as well.

Hoping to go back to play Fringe this year.

I think it will be a draw which will do no damage as we would then be 2 losses from a relegation place. Drawing all remaining will mean survival. Though I think we will beat the Geordies and Norwich.

Win and we'll be heading towards 37, or 38+ points. Safe.

Lose and we'll be looking at being in 34, 35 point territory. Dicey.

Don't suppose we can set up a Family Away area so Maupay can do this again?

FREE UNIVERSITIES....!!!! What a completely MENTAL idea. I honestly didn’t know that Sweden had recently lurched towards communism.

It is. Moved here four years ago, from southern Sweden, and its been a very pleasant surprise ever since. What do you play?

"Recently"... well they have been free for at least 50 years or so, until 2010 for everyone but nowadays only for EU-members (sorry), same in the other Nordic countries. I'm guessing we're going to have to fight for that freedom soon though but they wont be able to **** us over easily.

We we're very close to turning Social democracy into communism (the good kind) in the 70's though:

Employee funds (Swedish: Löntagarfonder) a socialist version of SWFs whereby the Swedish government taxed a proportion of company profits and put into special funds charged to buy shares in listed Swedish companies, with the goal of gradually transferring companies from private to collective employee ownership.

However the elite stopped it in the end and now we're pretty ****ing far from communist... : (

Off Topic - but when I went to Copenhagen I was surprised by how many young Brits were working in bars. We asked a couple of them and they told us because university degrees were free so was a no brainer - few years in a foreign country, get a degree, come back debt free and into a good job.

It would be a beautiful early birthday present before next Tuesday if we can beat the filth up the road. Our recent record against them is brilliant but I just feel more anxious than usual about Saturday. Maybe because it's our best chance of three points for a while before we head into a tricky March.

Let's hammer Palarse AGAIN! :albion:

Can't remember the last must win game we won

Appaling record in these big games lately.

Saturday is absolutely crucial

Am fearing a 0 - 2 Palace counter attack display

Biggest game of the season so far again

I play rhythm guitar and sing. Two of us went to Sweden and played an acoustic set, stayed for a week and everyone was so friendly. I was surprised when they asked which country I was from, I thought it would be obvious, but I suppose when everyone speaks English I could’ve been from anywhere!

One barman gave us a few free drinks, a Swedish band paid about £30 for me and my mate to get into a club and bought us a round of shots! We were almost treated like royalty in the Hard Rock Cafe and the waitresses are lovely

Not sure if we were supposed to pay for the tram or not, there was no ticket guard, we had to come from Kvillebäcken every day.

Can’t wait to go back.
