Wasn't so keen on the pre-match music, which appeared to have been taken from the Best Generic Happy Clappy Football Ground Anthems In The World Ever CD, but hopefully it was just a one off for the first game.
Seemed fine to me. Would rather that than not being able to hear the bloody thing at all.
Sadly, I suspect what we got on Saturday will be standard pre-match fodder from now on. Inoffensive, but nothing special.
That is not the choice though is it? It's not on or off.
Personally, I was ok with it, but I could very well understand that it was too loud for some. Nothing dramatic, but maybe knock it down a notch or two.
To me that is exactly the same as music after goals - playing songs to 'help' with the celebrations. I would personally HATE to hear everybody clapping along (not least because the song is shit), but there you go, it's personal preference.I thought 'Praise You' was superb. Would love to hear it every time we win, with everyone clapping in time it would be mustard.
the noise level seemed better Saturday and the atmosphere was fantastic. The only thing I would say is on the WSL you couldn't always hear what Richard was saying ie his words weren't that clear

EDIT: And I appear to be in a minority, fair enough.
I liked Praise You at the end. Thought it was fitting.

but at times it did feel a little bit TOO much like a North Korean political rally.
