If you listened to Gary Dicker on the 5 live interview, he said that there were only 7 people with passes that get you into the changing room area.
He also said, even the players cannot get into the changing room without one of these people letting them in.

I have supported this club for over 50 years and have never felt so low in being a supporter of the club and this is all because of this incident. The losing to the Palace, the fact that it looks like we have lost Gus I can handle, but the disgrace that this has brought on the club I am finding hard to handle.
You only have to read the P**gate thread on the BBS, to know how much of a laughing stock the club is now and we will have to live with this for years to come.
We really do need some statement from the club at the end of this, that shows it has been dealt with properly and we can start to regain some respect as a club. .

It is easy, just don't look at BBS again until after the next time we have beaten CPFC! That is what I have decided to do, they do not exist and therefore I don't give a damn about them :)

Slightly over dramatic me thinks - what about the Archer years ? THAT to me was a truly depressing time.

That was footballing business and I doubt that people thought Brighton were a "laughing stock" - merely that they were a club in financial peril.

This incident with Crystal Palace is crude, lowbrow and disgusting and reflects badly upon the club. The Archer years reflected badly on Archer and co.

I think it's all quite funny.

Oh come on. An internet message board populated by our rivals. Of course they are going to be all over it.

Most of the football world really couldn't care less. How much time have you spent thinking about the pigs head at Stoke?

Is the right answer

Really ? Blimey you must be a delicate flower. I don't think it's funny at all, and the person who did the deed must be some sort of idiot, but can't say I'm in any way embarrassed on behalf of the club in the least. One person did something silly, and email was sent as a result - that's it. Not a single person I work with in London has mentioned it, and I doubt if anyone outside of Palace and ourselves knows anything about it or cares.

Nope. Just tiresome and moronic. Oh, and embarrassing.
Tiresome is right. And we will be reminded of it for years to come. We had best get used to it.
I'm not embarrassed by it one bit. I didn't do anything. My club didn't even do anything. One idiot did something and it wasn't a big deal. Fans, staff, even players from some clubs have murdered and raped people. That's bloody serious. Someone from our club did a shit on the floor. Whoopy do.

The only reason people will bother repeating it, is if you're embarrassed about it. Like when Madona became famous and the press found the stories of her pornographic past, and they were so excited at the shame of it all - they stuck cameras in her face and asked if her about it, and she said 'yeah, what's the problem? I'm not embarrassed' - and that was the end of the story.

the point being , the outside world probably isn't taking that much notice. Talk of 'disgrace' and 'embarrassment' needs a bit of perspective. It's only ever going to be remembered really when we play each other.

I think you are mistaken and I think we will suffer many songs not just from Palace about this. I really think this will be added to the homophobic lines that is aimed at us wherever we go. Not that the homophobic songs worry me, but I do think this incident will be added in someway to the songs now, I hope I am wrong.

I think now that there will be a parting of the ways "by mutual consent".

We will never be officially told what's gone on but the club will just issue a carefully worded statement to tell us. Then give it a couple of days after that, and our new manager will then be announced.

I would hope something happens by the end of this week. I really don't want this to drag on much longer.

p.s I am not in the know, just my take on it all.

Agree and really, really, really want to know who our [new or old] manager will be so we can stop the baseless speculation on that and concentrate on the baseless speculation about who our new signings will be for next season!!

Absolutely this, one fool did something silly, why should we all feel ashamed?
Having a little snigger about it and saying yer so what? We can take away the sting of palace abuse, wearing sackcloth and ashes and bowing our heads in shame they will just keep beating us with the shitty stick. Anyway who hasn't vigorously sang "shit on the palace below" song on the terraces?
