Never mind Kate Bush look what ' Stranger Things ' has done for this classic slice of metal! :)

Just seen that performance on TOTP 1978 when we all went 'is that a complete looney or complete f***ing musical genius ?'

I think we all now now, although I may not have been convinced at the time

And of course 30th July each year is designated [The Most] Wuthering Heights Day [Ever] at various locations across the world, where women and some quite hairy men put their red dresses on and frolic around fields in textbook Ms Bush style.

This one from Sydney earlier on today (for an extra bonus, they've located a nearby Hill to go Running Up this year  ):

There are versions of it all over the place

I won't lie: if there was a Brighton version, I'd be right in there :lolol:

Don’t know if this is true, but I was once told that you won’t hear a cymbal in any of her music - Apparently she hates the sound of them

A friend of mine once gave her a lift home when she was a student. He did try to get her out for a drink but got a polite decline.

Kate Bush, Annie Lennox, Dolares o'riordan, Sinead O’Connor are the female goats of British/Irish women music imo a league apart.

Pfui. You have merely named the four international female names so I guess they are a league apart by definition. Three of whom who have not been relevant for decades, and one who I had to look up.

Clearly Bush has been the most impactful of the four (the other three are one hit wonders x 2 and a none hit wonder), but there again, not as impactful as Cliff Richard. Therefore not as 'good'?

Frankly, if you like an artist, great. There is no need to rank them.

Are you saying Annie Lennox is a one hit wonder?

Diva sold 7m copies worldwide
Medusa sold 1.9m copies in the US alone

Kate Bush has sold 25m albums and 15m singles - and that excludes downloads which must be a staggering number.
