Was also watching Fry. Though I'm clearly upset I missed the guided tour around the cul de sac of Cilla Black's career. Was this the one hosted by the guy who did Lily Savage? Nauseating. I loathe self appointed "National Treasures" Babs Windsor and Forsyth are another pair. All ever so impressed with themselves when they really do have very mediocre talent lucky enough to arrive at a time when entertainment had very lowly standards. You could become famous for tap-dancing for Christ sakes. Bunch of shithouses.

I would place Forsyth light years above the others you have mentioned in terms of talent.

O'Grady is, in my opinion, a rather unpleasant man. He had an early evening talk show a few years back and one day he had as guests, Parkinson and Plan B. Plan B was performing ( I happen to quite like the album he did which was more soul but not a big fan) and O'Grady's mic was still on. You can clearly hear him remarking to Parky halfway through the performance "Common as Muck".

Pretty bloody rich from someone who made a living dressing up as a ropey bird in working men's clubs and is at best mediocre talent compared to Plan B who has made albums in several genres, written and directed films and played to thousands at Glastonbury.

Very snobby for a supposed man of the people.
