I also saw a Bermuda team as well (Hazel Irvine wittily commentated that they weren't wearing shorts )

Can't beat opening ceremonies for unrivalled tat and cheesiness.

They're like the Eurovision of sport.

The displays, music and fireworks were spectacular especially the lighting of the flame.
I also liked the Ferrari doing handbrake turns to mark out the Olympic rings.

She was extremely accurate with the 5 perfectly formed interlocking rings that were burned onto the surface.
