I first saw Debbie Harry on OGWT in 1978. I've yet to see anyone more stunning on TV.

I remember coming home one night and switching on OGWT just in time to see Magazine perform "The Light Pours Out Of Me" and "A Song From Under The Floorboards". I was transfixed. Can't seem to find it anywhere though.

Think this lot are still alive - I'm sure we would have heard if Nick Lowe had shuffled off, would be great to see them do this again...

Nick Lowe is still with us, and has just been announced as one of the support acts for Elvis Costello at Blenheim Palace in the summer.

Also Brinsley Schwarz (the bloke) has been touring with Graham Parker as a duo, and the others came together as the Rumour not too long ago, so it is a possibility, although there has never been any talk of a reunion

Sadly, this was all before my time but I love getting lost in Youtube video tunnels from the show. My two favourites are this one from Kris Kristofferson and Rita Coolidge singing 'Help me make it through the Night'. I've only ever seen Johnny Cash and June Carter show as much love for each other on stage as Kris and Rita in that performance.

And the other video is John Martyn 'Couldn't Love You More'. It was mainly due to those videos that has made me so fond of Martyn. His songs are great but it was only when I saw him perform them live that I really got what he was all about.
