I agree that JFC has been restricted and is far better further forward, but I would say that is more through the failure of Hyypia to play a holding or defensive midfielder.

Yes, I think that is fair. But as you say JFC has to stay back, whilst Gardner brainlessly marauds forward like a headless chicken, perhaps, by as per my original my point, by playing Holla, JFC can play in his natural position.

Colunga for me. Tex has loads of ability but no brain it would seem - he needs to know when to try the clever move and when to do the simple pass.

McCourt is weak but he is much more streetwise than Tex. As I said I think Colunga is preferable though.
