"Bookies Victor Chandler (VC Bet) report plenty of cash for the current Stockport manager Jim Gannon, and the ex Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd in the race for who'll be the next Brighton and Hove Albion manager.

VC Bet have slashed their prices on the two men after a run of money in the last two days.

"Both Gannon and Boothroyd have been the ones they want." said Victor Chandler spokesman Neal Wilkins.

"We have turned down very big bets on both from separate sources which suggests the picture might be unclear. It's proving to be an interesting market."
