The Sheff Utd game - we scored first (in fact we scored all 3 goals as Mayo scored an own goal) just before half time and won it just before full time.

Ah yes I remember that, I went there because I couldn't get a Spurs ticket. Both our goals were scored in added time I think.

A great result! It's the first time that we have beaten Walsall away since Brian Clough was our manager.

First win at the Bescot then.

I think it may also be the first time this season we have scored around ten minutes before the end of the first half. In this ten minute period of the game between 25 and 35 minutes we only let the opposition score.

I was at the game last night. I couldn't believe how quiet the Walsall fans were. They got animated only when Michel had to keep replacing the ball when attempting a goal kick in a hurricane. Well done, lads, for a gutsy performance. Under Forster's astute leadership on the pitch, this season might well have a very happy ending.

Who has been officially credited with our second goal? My view was obscured by a large metal post, but it looked like Murray got the final touch. So why has the goal been listed as an own goal by Gerrard?

Why did Wilkins take Forster off? He was running the game.

I would imagine (and I'm only guessing) that he was saving his legs for the game on Sat and next Tues, both of which are important to win.

Last night's game showed us that Knight and Wilkins must do all in their power to keep Richards and Westlake (even if that means getting promoted). You can tell that they rose through the ranks together at Ipswich Town as they know each other's game inside-out.

Apparently, Ipswich fans are begging Jim Magilton to get Richards back in place of Harding. Don't we all know why?

i was sat on the left hand side from you guys near to the walsall end. the only time they got noisy (apart from when the ball kept getting blown around for the goal kicks) was when some lad that was pissed, kept taking his shirt off and running along the front of their stand egging them all on to sing. what a prat. for the second half i moved along to the right of the stand and sat near to micky adams. well done to all of you that went last night

Listening to the West Midlands FM phone in on the way home last night was fun. Their manager had a real rant at their support and I don't blame him.

Great fun to read this thread through - how do you post Bozza?!

Blackberry. Although I can't seem to get the attachment thingummy on NSC to work on it so I had to email the photos home and have them uploaded from there.

I must have been trying to type too quickly - I meant the fans were on the back of the team. Forster then scored and we were the best team in the world again.
