I have read on some dodgy site that Poyet is being linked with a move back to South America to manage River Plate. Any views?

The piece says about him returning to manage Argentinian side River Plate where he started his career.

Except it was at the Uruguayan team called River Plate that he started, and apparently the poster has the same profile pic as someone on BBS...

Conclusion: Utter bullshit

Main initial problem was CMS refusing to go as part of exchange.
Club now has stricter financial control - loan only signing until 3 players (all transfer listed) leave.
Loan targets now Nile Ranger and Bebe.
One of the 2 was meant to be in by Saturday - looks now that due to internal controls will not happen before end of transfer deadline. Source: reliable within club.

Paul Caddis to sign for Birmingham on loan for the rest of season, with the option of making it permanent at the end of the season for £200,000. Brighton also believed to be interested.
