That is correct Ernest. There were loads of Chelsea scum in the East Terrace. They won 2-1 but still saw fit to invade the pitch and tear down the goals. I have hated Chelsea ever since then.

I have disliked them since Dick Knight announced live on Sky Sports News that they were the only club in the Football League not to commit themselves to the Falmer cause.

Saturday 3rd September 1983. Steve Foster got done after for his goal celebration afterward , it was a smoking gun salute apparently which looked very much like a two fingered salute to the Chelsea fans who shouldn't have been in the South Stand in the first place.
