What I am extremely impressed with is that it was at No 17 on Thursday. Saturday is when the little brats go and buy their Kylie and other assorted rubbish, thereby pushing us further down the charts AND YET, we held our position.

Brilliant!

This weekend I feel so unbelievably proud to be a seagull.

TOGETHER WE WILL WIN!

I was going to post the very same sentiments.

The NIMBYs must be tearing their frigging hair out with all of the publicity we've got this weekend:clap2: :clap2:

So next week is the 1000th Number One? We better shift about 25,000 copies then to go down in the history books. Easy :drink:

When you think, if each fan who went to Spurs bought 5 copies this week 5 x 5,000 = 25,000

It would be that hard, really

This is absolutely amazing news. I felt sure the single would be top 40, but to break into the top 20 is fantastic, as it means a guaranteed mention on national telly on Top of the Pops.

Well done Atilla, and all concerned with the production of the record. I look forward to eventually receiving my copy from Amazon!!

On top of yesterday's trip to White Hart Lane I feel I may have a warm glowing feeling for the rest of the week!!

17, a marvellous effort.

Surely this will guarantee Jimmy Saville or Fluff Freeman mention it when they do the run down of the latest hit parade on Top of the Pops ;)

Dunno, but is a blanket rule that you *cannot* show record label names, particularly those that you've recorded on... FBS and Phats & Small have both been refused permission to wear Albion shirts on TOTP. Maybe they'll bend it, but its dependent on TOTP letting them on in the first place, and not just mentioning it in the rundown.
