I'm a little uncomfortable about the Kiwi fella.

Come on Chris.

Did anyone notice that flag with 'Black Caviar on wheels' written on it after the Aussie won . Bet that's nice for the girl, being likened to a horse.

What a fantastic career she's had: and so generous in defeat after her very last race. It's a pleasure to see a real LEGEND for a change.

ps Come on Chris!!

Feel so bad for Pendleton, did nothing wrong in the first race yet lost out for one bad race.

:tantrum: Stupid Aussies. Oh well we're still 19 golds ahead of them.

I had one heck of a drive home from work, felt so sad for Vicky but had to lift myself and stay on the road while listening to Sir Chris when he took it on early. Talk about drama !

Sad its the time to say goodbye to two greats but heartened to see the rise of " King" Kenny and Laura Trott who are stepping up and taking the baton. I think team GB are in great shape for the future.

Isn't it fantastic that we've got a sport where we've done everything to the highest degree, from top to bottom, nothing's been left to chance and it's causing severe jealousy among our rivals.
On the Pendleton front, as far as I'm concerned Meares forced the 'fault' on Vicky and in the second race her mind just wasn't right, it's a pity it had to end that way for her but that's sport.

Hate the rules about only 1 cyclists per country. Don't do that in other sports. Its like the IOC is trying to penalise domination and us.

She didn't get her tactics right on the last one, Mears stopped virtually and Vicky had nothing to accomodate that.
