Did not watch but I expect none of the candidates distanced themselves from Johnson, as they all served under a liar and charlatan quire happily....

I expect there was lots of talk about tax cuts but nothing about how to give tax cuts and yet increase public spending to try to repair our broken country...we are the sick man of Europe. Giving small tax cuts to low and middle earners means less money for the NHS, Education and the raft of things that other countries seem to fund quite adequately, the things that help society function yet we have to do without until " Trickle Down " economics eventually works...

TT was the only one who answered the direct question: "Do you think Boris Johnson is an honest man?"

He answered, "No".

Have to give him credit for that, if nothing else.

NewsNight quoted someone this evening as saying the tv debate was “like a circular firing squad where none of the participants have had weapons training.”

When will it be revealed who your next muppet PM is?

I actually find this quite offensive. One of my nicknames as a kid was Beaker and I don't think the Muppets have ever done anything to make comparison with any of these candidates fair. Any assessment of integrity, empathy, emotional intelligence and competence would put inanimate puppets and mouldy potatoes higher than any of these Tories.

On the plus side, we hopefully won't end up with a PM so compromised by Russia they're denied access to official secrets this time. It's one of the mysteries of life for me, that people can consider themselves patriots and support Boris. Just look past the Union Jacks and the posh voice and see the evidence. And then question his motivation for everything he's supported and who has told him to support it and why. And why he personally led active avoidance of investigation into Russian interference in our electoral processes. We are a basket case of a country to put him in charge and trust that anything he's ever said ever about anything might be in our interests.

I don't think NSC is the right forum to discuss Tory leader

:lolol:

Yes, a bit like using national television (Question Time) as a forum to discuss whether any of our recruitment targets can play left back.

The number of non-members who give a shit and haven't already made up their mind to vote the wankers out at the earliest possible opportunity out could probably fit in the boot of my old Golf.
