I’m flying up from Southampton this afternoon and staying overnight in a hotel not too far from the Etihad. I’m not telling you which one as I don’t want any of you buggers running up a bar bill on my room number!

I am quite happy though to know which pub people are going to - I might even buy a round!

Loads of decent boozers along Oldham St in the Northern Quarter, 20 mins walk to the ground from there.

The drinking always more successful than the footie watching my lot. Three seasons and the current aggregate score is 13-1.....
