I thought we were "acting quickly" and "ahead of the game" in this transfer window... its all gone very quiet.
It is all very hush-hush.
If you could bet on this, you'd probably want to cover off Leon Best, Shola Ameobi and Max Power, but that is about all the whispers or any merit thus far.

Uninspired- but only to be expected. As long as we finish above relegation places i will be happy and we don't get embarraes aginst Arsenal. No doubt keeping our powder dry for the summer.

The club still has a lot of shopping to do in this window...
1 or 2 strikers (dependent on others leaving), a creative attacking midfielder, and a decent defensive midfielder are all needed in my opinion.

This, I hope - some activity is needed, maybe a good loanee or two, and of course if a good opportunity crops up hopefully we'll grab it with both hands, but this really isn't the best time to be shopping.
Just concentrate on staying up, then go for it in the summer with the Ulloa / Buckley money.

Sack all our 'strikers' off and get 2 actual strikers please, as well as a winger so we don't have to keep playing one of them out wide.

Not as silly as it may initially sound but Liverpool want to offload Ricky Lambert how about a loan with possible purchase in the summer if the price is right, if not just a loan. He was a panic buy as per COG for us.

Not so silly; where has he played his entire career until Liverpool paid a very high OTT price. Who would go after him a low rated premier or club in the Championship, so why shouldnt we?
