Well away from all this manager malarkey,It's Fridat night and as such have started off with a bottle of Riva Leone Piemonte Barbera,which some of you lucky NSCers may recognize as the red served in HB's etc. in the Amex,managed to liberate a couple of bottles and will mark the end of our season by drinking them!

I shall be perusing the aisles of the Co-Operative for their "Sommelier's Special Offers" (i.e. what's reduced) on the way home and will quite possibly partake in a quaff of red with my Dinner, whatever that is going to be....

I’m in Los Alcazares with Mrs W this week, so I’m mostly drinking Estrella Levante and she’s mostly on the local Galtea Cava. Bloody brilliant. Grateful for what CH did, ever a legend of the Club, but even more grateful that TBs ambition is driving him on to make the tough decisions that top achievers do. Very confident and hopeful for the next chapter.
