Not fussed by Dobbie leaving. Was never going to start many/any games for us.

Pleasing to see the bit in the contract saying he cant play against us though...

No. The loan is an emergency loan but it lasts until the end of the season.

No - I don't understand it either. Club have said so on Twitter.

Also Players on emergency loan can be recalled by their own clubs after 28 days have expired, but not before.:lolol:

Yes that's right. We are still going to be paying his wages... :dunce:

If he REALLY is your highest earner, we won't be paying all of his wages. You'll be subsidizing.

There is no recall. This is very much a goodbye to Dobbie from Brighton. He's as good as gone. Loan 'til the end of the season, no recall clause, permanent transfer when the window opens.

Who cares about Dobbie? Ulloa will get goals and Vicente will create. I'm happy with this deal.

That's just your opinion, no one will really know, but I suggest we'd only let him go if you paid the full wages, especially with all the millions you are known to have banked from Zaha.

You are presenting your fantasy view as reality, please stop doing this ???

Mate, good luck Dobbie, he may of been half decent a couple of years ago but he really is a bit pony. One of the laziest players I have seen in the stripes. You are more then welcome to him. Hope the old carrot cruncher boss of yours can work some magic with him!

We don't pay massive wages. We walked away from potential signings in this window because they wanted to be our highest earners. If he's on anything over £10k you'll be paying some of it.

That's how loans work.

Why would we pay wages of 1 of our reserves to play for you? You are an absolute cock if you really think thats the case. Im sure you are seaside under another name. Only he could come out with such bullshit

he seems to have built his reputation on one brief 7 game loan spell at blackpool....if you look at his career he has done VERY little else (apart from at queen of the south in the arse end of scottish football)...also the fact that he's scottish at a time when the national team have called up basically anyone and he hasn't earned a single cap (aged 30) speaks volumes

glad we got rid...poor signing

It's pretty simple really, he didn't do well for Brighton but has a decent track record at other clubs, especially under Holloway so the move makes sense despite it being between big rivals.

It doesn't make sense in him staying at Brighton. For whatever reason, he hasn't settled at all and you have quite a few other strikers as it is so there's little point in keeping him.

Will he do well for us? Speculating won't help but there has to be some talent hidden away given how well he's done at Blackpool and if he really is your highest earner (don't believe it myself) then Poyet must have seen something in him but as ever, judgement should be reserved until he's played a few games!

actually look at his track record....it really isn't anything special

Hibs: 35 games, 2 goals
St Johnstone: 28 games, 3 goals
Dumbarton: 17 games, 10 goals
Queen of the South: 83 games, 47 goals
Swansea: 55 games, 9 goals
Blackpool: 16 games, 4 goals
Blackpool: 7 games, 5 goals
Brighton: 14 games, 2 goals

so his overall record in england is 92 games, 20 goals

that one 7 game loan spell is impressive, but there isn't much else...

He has some talent in managing to jinx past players , some nifty footwork but he can't finish. Too many chances on goal and a failure to convert a decent ratio of them , he scored 2 goals for us , one of which was a penalty. Looked disinterested especially when outpaced by defenders and midfielders and couldn't care a f*** when the rest of the team are trying their hardest.
