It's not Gordon McQueen is it?? There's not a person in football (not even Neil Warnock) that I would love to punch more...

I really hate him. Even in the playoffs he was so negative. We may have lost the game and maybe dropped a couple of places but we take each game as it comes and go on to think about the next one.

Sounds like Knight is having a good game though.

We need some fresh players, I think everyone has given 100% so far this season, but it must be time to bring in one or two loan signings to change things round.

Norman Gall was one of my favourite ever players - especially alongside John Napier, but tonight he is really grating on me - mind you not much to be cheerful about tonight

We've got to get a loan striker in and soon. Virgo was never meant to be a long term solution and doesn't looking like scoring now. Knight's only scored 2 and it's November. We badly need a goalscorer.

Secondly, the next 5 homes games...Crewe, Burnley, Rotherham, Stoke and Gillingham will probably determine if we stay up. We must take 10 - 12 points from these. It's quite possible we'll get nothing from the next 5 aways ....West Ham, Ipswich, Millwall, Wolves, OPR so it's absolutely vital we go on a run at Withdean or we will go down.

The voice of doom tonight...

The thing is we're not playing badly, and we're not bad enough to lose the next 5 away games. Not losing at Millwall isn't that hard and West Ham lost 4-1 to Cardiff! This league really is quite close and anything can happen, so dont get ur heads down now:)
As for signings, any out of favour prem or div 1 striker available for loan who can score goals will do. Knight's getting better though and hell be back:)

Just got back. we were hammered and did play poorly. Never looked like scoring one let alone two or three. The usual passion was missing and Derby were very good. Their third goal was a classic. Mayo left for dead down the right, superb cross and the bog Pole (Rasiak ?) left two defenders thrashing about as he headed in at the far post. I remember Norman Gall scoring one like that in the sixties !
Have just heard a prat on 606 call for McGhee's head. Who do they think we can afford Adams or Megson ?
