Pity that despite wanting more younger representation, the shortlist actually has a higher % of over 55s than applied.............
But this is just the shortlist. It's up to everyone to vote.

It remains to be seen how people vote, but we wanted to be transparent about the make up of the candidates and the shortlist. There was no discrimination on the make up of the shortlist, either positive or negative, as described by hiding sex and age from the process. There are some excellent candidates in there, male, female, young or older.

Weekly meeting minutes posted in the NEWS section here
Thanks for posting these minutes.

I note that the meeting with the club’s board has now been postponed quite a few times.

A couple of questions on that, if you don’t mind:

1) Has there been any reason(s) given for these postponements and why the club would now seemingly prefer a Zoom meeting?

2) During the lifespan of the FAB so far, has a meeting taken place at all with the club’s board?

Good questions Brian
1) There have been various reasons for the postponements. No reason not to think they are legit, but equally there will obviously have been full board meetings during this period, just none that included the FAB section. We've pushed back on the Zoom call as seen in the notes.
2) No

Barry, a genuine thanks for your enthusiasm and time you spend on this, i really hope the club don’t see your group as a necessary irritant that now and again will grace you with their interest?

Honestly, I think if you don't get given a full-board meeting in the next couple of months you should just resign en masse and make a point of doing so on social media, to the FSA etc. This was a nice idea but you're all wasting your time now.

You're being willfully ignored by the club, which obviously isn't buying-in based on Barber's opening comments a few months ago where he says he doesn't think a FAB is needed because of how great he is at listening to fans...

Notes from this evening's FAB meeting are now on the FAB website

Thanks for these minutes.

You said previously that you'd be pushing back against the idea of the FAB attending a Zoom meeting, rather than an in-person one. It appears there's now an acceptance that the Zoom one will happen instead. May I ask what changed in terms of your collective stance? Additionally, it would appear that the board want to know exactly what you're going to be saying (in terms of presentation and notes). This doesn't seem a particularly open approach in terms of the basis for a useful discussion, so I wondered if you were pushing back against that too?

Many thanks.

Thank you for your interest.

We did push back at a zoom meeting. But they stuck to their position and our 15 minutes will be by zoom this afternoon.

That's frustrating to hear, I'm sorry to read a lot of this, as it seems the FAB are being treated rather poorly.

I am not sure if you're the person to be bringing this to, but what's the chances/protocol for getting a banner made for the City game congratulating Leverkusen on their title win? They did it for us in our promotion season, would be nice to continue that "special relationship" with the fanbase of the new German Champs :D

Barber doesn’t want any plebs in the board room stinking the place up and ruining the carpets
