….at significant cost, and for the benefit of a lucky and affluent 200 or so (how many loyalty points needed to bag a seat ?? 🤣)
Comparatively - Leverkusen have organised a fan group lead charter to Baku - €500 return or €530 if not a member of their group (which costs about €20 a year).
Given return flights direct to Baku were about £500 anyhow - rather competitive offering

Dear FAB

Provably been asked many times before but if so I’ve forgotten or missed it.

Please can the parking season ticket be reinstated, even just a few hundred spaces for the most loyal Parkers at the Bridge. It would save a lot of anxiety and stress.
How would they know who the most 'loyal parkers' are? That just means that they're the ones who are fastest to book their space. Just to point out that I have no stake in this as I much prefer to walk through all the mud in Stanmer Park after getting off the bus. I just thought I'd start the argument. ;)

Corporate offering was £2500 (incl flights).

I used the term “loyal Parkers” very loosely and didn’t mean to confuse. I just meant that they could offer say 250 spaces at the beginning of the season on a first come first served basis. I doubt there are that many who would want to pay and commit up front but for people who have to travel a distance it would be a god send.

Does seem odd that there is no season ticket parking option when the majority of those parking must be regulars?

Would happily purchase a parking season ticket if available

Any idea how much they used to cost?
The last season a parking ST was available (I think) was 2019/20 and cost £250 for 19 league matches, just over £13 per match.
It stopped because of dear old farmer Bennett!

Dear Timba,
We shall do no such thing. Lots of anxiety and stress is all part of the value offering being part of the PL entails. Please suck it up, along with inconvenient times and constant fixture changes. Your statutory rights as a football fan remain unaffected ie you have none.

Yours, (positively up)
FAB, DAB & DOZY

Ps we have added a £1.50 answering fee to cover the cost of this correspondence.

Notes from FAB zoom meeting Monday 11th March

Attending - Gill, Gerry, Andy, Jo, and Niraj

Apologies - Charlie, Allison, Nigel, and Clive

1) Recruitment

It will be critical to ensure Club complete recruitment process this week to meet 8th and 10th April dates for interviewing prospective candidates. Gill agreed to raise in Chairs/Vice Chairs call with club on 12 March. 5 FAB members could make 8th April and 4 could make 10th April.

2) Fans forum Webinar

Article in Nottingham Forest Programme for Fans Webinar planned for March 18th 7pm

Gill agreed to discuss Comms with Club

FAB agreed to generate interest with supporters’ clubs.

3) Email minder next week

Gerry will monitor the inbox FanAdvisoryBoard@brightonandhovealbion.com and register interest in Fans Forum

4) Womens’ Game

Jo had a number of issues which she will raise with the Club during the 12th March call. The atmosphere at Crawley and lack of facilities are causing lack of engagement.

5) Disabled Supporters Association

There are now over 80 fans registered with seagulls.dsa@gmail.com. The launch went well. Work on the steering committee will start in April.

6) Roma feedback

Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere who went to the game. Andy reported some negative traffic on social media concerning the stabbing of 2 Albion fans.

7) Minutes

Gill agreed to publish the minutes on the www.bhafc-fab.co.uk website and send to Nigel for posting on northstandchat

The most curious thing..

So I am a non-person. :flypig:

Just because the last game I went to was over 15 years ago :drama:

Instead of our usual weekly FAB meeting, this week we held our first FAB Webinar, chaired (very professionally) by Gerry Brown

Thanks to all those who took part. We plan to make this a regular thing.

The detailed notes and the topics covered are already up on the FAB website

Strange 95 applicants for the FAB vacancies , but only 23 people registered for the webinar. I would have thought that if you were serious about joining you would have tuned in to gain a greater understanding of the workings if the FAB and to gain an insight into current issues.

Anyway an interesting read and hopefully progress can be made on the issues raised.

Agree……also surprised 23 is seen as ‘encouraging’ given our STH/A+ membership base.

Is it still the same set up where Supporters vote for their preferred candidate and then it goes to the Club to decide who gets invited?
