  1. Flag crowd funding – Appreciate that Dec and Jan not a great time for fund raising. Get peoples thought and get some better designs from Dogma NSK etc.
Rather than funding for more flags that are passed over head like the RDZ one (as they mean logistical planning is needed for its display) i'd rather we focus our efforts on flags that can be permanently displayed around the interior of the stadium like the Stand or Fall banner. Lets fill all the grey spaces and make the Amex more Albiony. Get the club to designate some spots for new flags, get Dogma to design them, get us lot to fund them. Simple.

I wasn’t.…..it’s not going to achieve anything or change anything and sure they already have a great deal of detail on what happened.
I don’t know how much detail they have, or how you know that they have a 'great deal of detail', but I’ve not been asked about my experience on the night. and of all the people I shared stories with over the next 4 days, no one had heard from the club or been asked about what they went through.
As regards comments further above, don’t agree that there was a ‘lack of BHA officials’. There were many down by the buses post-match explaining what was going on, stopping us walking out into the ‘riot’ and generally making sure people were ok. Wouldn’t have expected many/any to be in the stands to react to what was an unfortunate (if unpleasant) side-effect of some AEK knobs needing sorting out by the police.
I don’t disbelieve you but personally I didn’t see any obvious BHA people in the lower enclosure or concourse, and none by the buses. No one was there to explain what was going on. Mind you, we were just glad to get out and onto the buses so perhaps I just missed them.

You say it won’t achieve anything to have any communication from the club. What it would achieve is the belief that the club has some interest in the welfare of the fans, some of whom were quite badly affected. Although it lasted only a few minutes, it was the worst experience I’ve had at a football match since the hooliganism of the 70s and 80s. It was really horrible.

There was a whole group of club staff and Sussex police at the back of the row of buses as we left - had quite a conversation with them as we were intending to walk back to the hotel.

Let’s do both.

May have been different for the other blocks but the people in the lower one, 47, which had the tear gas, were directed out and straight onto the buses. There was no hanging about chatting to staff, even if I’d seen any. I think most of us just wanted to get away. I read about it later on the BBC and in the Gusrdian but have heard nothing from the club about it. Were any of this big group of staff and police in the lower tier, I wonder? I’m starting to think that maybe they just didn’t realise how serious it was for people on the concourse trying to get back up into the fresh air.

They were standing literally on the road at the back of the bus line - you had to walk past them to get on the buses.

Please show us a summary of what’s in the presentation, thanks.
We will do this after the presentation.
We don't want to publicise it before we've run it through with the board.
And we will be able to include comments and actions after the meeting.

It’s been mentioned a few times in the past but any plans to consult the wider fanbase on “fanzone” as a collective pre match build up product, what parts work, don’t work etc, improvements?

There’s been enough noise certainly on here at least so think a wider survey to season ticket holders and members would be sensible.

Potential for some high impact low cost improvements to atmosphere hopefully

Thanks

Hi Nigel

I know this subject has been discussed previously, but please mention at your next meeting that the crowd rendition of GOSBTS before kick off v Marseilles, was by far the best / loudest it has been all season - without any words being displayed on the screens or perimeter boards...

Hi Nigel,

Via FAB can you ask the club why fans are being asked to purchase tickets now for a game three months away at the most expensive time of the year.

Surely this Europa business could have waited till at least mid-January.

I hope you push for more FAB inclusion in some key areas of decision making in the club so we get rid of some of the inconsistencies and one way dialogue from senior managers. PB’s comment in your last meeting minutes about his feeling the FAB isn’t necessary isn’t reassuring at all. Makes it feel rather like lip service to the FA, Premier League etc. we get lots right, but have had negative stories regarding treatment of fans and employees. The sanctions, appeals etc follow a procedure that only benefits/suits the club. If recent revelations regarding the Horizon scandal are correct then fans need to feel reassured they are judged within the parameters of the law, not based on a personal or club moral agenda or view that goes against the right to freedom of speech, ignores the courts or is affronted - yet our Police feel there is no case to pursue.. . If only for the integrity of the club we ought to be more aligned to the real world.

Utter bo11ocks, sorry. Are you suggesting that displaying the words stops people singing?

Some people seem horrified that new home visitors, and even long term intermittent fans, may not know the words to GOSBTS off by heart. I certainly don’t know every word, and I appreciate being able to glance up at the board as I lustily express my devotion. At my age, I have trouble remembering my wife’s name, never mind the lyrics to regional marching songs from the Edwardian era.

Why wouldn’t we want as many people as possible to join in? Put the words up and let us all heartily sing along.

Surprised you make it to the ground if you can't remember the words to the first verse and chorus.

Feel for the FAB, not wanted by the club and having to deal with ridiculously opposing views on pretty elementary issues. Wow

I always remember the chorus but can get a bit dotty during the verse. Apologies for that. What exactly is the problem in displaying the words? Regarding the post I responded to, can someone please explain why more people would sing without words than with? It makes no sense. It’s blatantly untrue for that poster to say that GOSBTS was sung louder at the Marseille game than normal. Possibly the chorus was, yes, but certainly not the verse!

Don’t think waiting another 10 days will make a huge difference to that many (and there’s no compulsion to buy). Surely more important things for the FAB to spend their time on ?

Can we determine what the club’s attitude is towards the A22 proposal for a breakaway European Super League?

Can we also ensure that the club will not support any proposal that further erodes the cash handed down to clubs throughout the football pyramid. Equally, we will not support a deal that unfairly enriches the existing top clubs in football.

Will the club also permit any banners objecting to the European Super League being displayed in the stadium.
