Cheers.
I get the impression after 15 consecutive cold wet days in January, this thread will be getting some reading.

Crikey!

Froome up to 3rd.

Sky will see some changes over the winter - they'll be no room for Wiggins / Cav / Froome in one team. It could still end up quite messy by the end of this race..

That was ridiculous. Imagine if he had the proper skinsuit, that is worth another 20 seconds over that distance according to Hutchinson on Eurosport anyway.

He did. They let him ride in sky's own yellow skinsuit.

Getting tighter than a nun's behind 1066.

I never thought that same kid I saw trying to shove a toothbrush up someone's bum while they were hanging out of a window, would one day win the tour de France!

The post that equalled and then overtook last years entire Tour thread.

That was quite some day.

A bit of reflection might be called for, tomorrow.

to the more educated on here,is the italian a concern?

No, I think the top four as they are now will remain so. The three behind Wiggins may swap around but he will not be caught now.

He should be, but seems lacking.

When it comes to going against Sky, Nibali and Evans are opposite.
Nibs is an attacking climber and the best descender in the peloton.
Evans is a defensive climber but a TT'er, which seems a little academic now.

ITV alluded to them and there teams having to work together, to work over Sky.

Anything is possible, but Nibali will need to be a minimum 6 minutes faster, than Brad, over the next 9 stages.
4 of which are unlikely to generate time gaps.

Watching Nibali going down hill with a purpose is a sight to behold.
It is something his team train for, but nevertheless that's a lot of time needed against the strongest team.

I have a question. Let's be honest, most TDFs are won or lost in the Time Trials. So what is the
point of being a great climber only. It seems pointless.
