Chavenel putting in a big time now, Eurosport saying Cancellara may have gone off to fast and is slowing

Stick with ITV, he pulled out 31 more seconds on Martin in 15km. Hardly slowing down. Chavanel looking really good though.

Velits (Peter) flying too, 3rd fastest at first check.

Channel hoping to avoid adds, also like to watch ITV highlights.

The Beast is nearing the end....he is flying

Me too, just being facetious. 1 minute 20 ahead for Spartacus at the end. Mick Rogers just gone through 4th fastest at the first check point by tenths on Martin.

Can't see anyone beating Cancellara today. Catching your 3-minute man after 20km is just mind-blowing!

He is awesome, well worth getting time off on August the 1st to see him represent Switzerland in the olympic Time Trial around Hampton Court, hopefully Tony Martin will have recovered some by then.

Surprised by Rolland, I'd read somewhere he'd been doing loads of TT work over the winter.
Obviously not.

Great ride by Chavennel

I'm sure I read they had been very astute with him, after year, and he was GENUINELY a good thing for France.

Martin said he was slow and Cancellara did not beat him by much, so I see Cancellara being beaten by a few riders. But Cancellara was pleased with his ride, so who knows? I think he will be beaten by a few riders. Is Rogers (the Australian) in yet? He might do a good time?

Half watching ITV4 up to now.

Rogers 12th, bad last section for him.

He'll blow up. I think he will end up behind Chavanel.
You would have thought so.
If he doesn't it'll certainly get the attention of the Sky boys.
