Today's predictions:

My tip for the rider in the breakaway and polka dots at the end of the stage is Giovanni Bernaudeau of Europcar.
Thank god you tipped him Pantani, it wouldn't have come off with just my luck on his shoulders
2 in the break and all the jerseys covered.

Hoping for better luck than yesterday - I was driving back from oop north in the afternoon and did not listen to the radio to avoid any Tour updates - then settled down to watch a recording of the afternoon ITV4 show .......... I watched a fair amount of it, skipping adverts and some of the middle sections - took it through to the building climax, through the 1K took it through to almost the last corner - then ......... the end of the recording.

The flaming wind had made the stage take longer than predicted.

Classic.

It was a tremendous finish - but I miss the htc train. I understood that - and it was a line of beauty.

Well as mentals as predicted.
I thought Brad got 'lucky' again. He just shouldn't be back there, that would have been marginal losses, without the crash.

Nice intermediate from Cav, handing out a cracking mouthful as he crosses the line at 40+mph. Pure class.

I think between us NSC called that stage pretty well.
We are a bit good at this, chaps.

I'm maintaining my fantasy groove.
Gilbert back out Cav back in!

I've also knocked out Giovanni Bernaudeau in favour of Bouet.

Fingers crossed I can squeeze Matt Goss in, this time tomorrow, and I won't be a day late.
I think he's got the speed to be the first to 'do' Cav.

I've finally scored a few points but a lot of ground to make up!

Lucky it's a marathon and not a sprint.
My bubble with burst over the weekend.
Not so sure about 1066's though, he has proper form. (assuming he is memories of meseeuw)

Another brilliant stage to watch today, barring sky's bad news of course -nasty. Loving Chavanel's attack. I had EBH in for Cav today, however ended up going back to it with what I thought was a master strike of cancellara out for gilbert - a master stroke that cost me 35pts

Brilliant stage today and we are not even near the mountains yet.

Looks like a stage built for the sprinters tomorrow, any tips for a winner apart from Cavendish?

Heard Tyler Farrar and Oscar Freire mentioned both at 40-1, worth a quid or two each way for a place?
