I lost track a bit, he was considered the no. 1 prospect by some last autumn, why did he drop?

Purely from a personal point of view, I dont think hes very good. Watched a few ND games last season because of the hype over him - & he was poor. Constantly missing targets, slow to release the ball, easily flustered.....

Thought much the same about Trubisky tbh....

But hey, what do I know. In Hue we trust - & if he thinks Kizer is worth a shot then we'll wait & see what he can do. For the time being though, the starters job is securely in Kesslers hands.

It's interesting because if the Browns have any belief that Kizer could be their man in the long term, he'll likely need to see the field this year as even with a decent off season it's extremely likely the Browns end up holding a top 10 pick and have the opportunity to draft a top quarterback prospect again.
