A few pundits picking the Jags as the team that's had the best draft.

Fowler(DE), Yeldon(RB), Cann(G), Greene(WR), Sample(FS) and Bennett(DT) have addressed a few of the obvious weaknesses within the Jags roster.

LORD HAVE MERCY. Dante Fowler Jr (#3 overall draft) lined up for his first play at the Jags minicamp. Looks like he's done his ACL

Out for the season.

Ouch.

Yep, it was confirmed last night. The only saving grace is that the defence was actually quite sound last year, it's the offence that blows. Whilst it's undoubtedly rubbish, it would have been worse if it was Yeldon or Greene.

Yes fair..Clemons will start and he is a very good DE. Be an interesting year in Jacksonville. I thing they will surprise many and finish over .500

We can but hope. Clemons came on strong towards the back end of the season, hopefully he can carry that form into this year. A big question mark hangs over Sen'derrick Marks who tore his ACL in the penultimate game, he's absolutely vital to the defence so fingers crossed he's ready too, however Michael Bennett should be able to deputise. There's actually some depth in the roster for once, which is fortunate.

No way, that really sucks, would have been great to see how he could have improved the D, just read he had not signed his 23 million contract at that moment either but it should still be honoured, he had not missed a game for three years, is he Hoskins in disguise

NFL suspends Brady for 4 games and fines Pats $1M

Bit surprised as Brady is the poster boy of the NFL – at least they acted unlike the spineless FA in the QPR saga

Interesting views on NFL.com about the lack of cooperation from the Patriots and Brady which led to the ban. Be interesting to see how the appeal goes but the NFL are not like the FA in doing a U-turn as soon as someone appeals.

Sooo, pre season is underway, what have we learnt about our teams thus far. The Jags have learnt that we have zero luck with injuries, following on from #3 draft pick Dante Fowler tearing his ACL in free camp our 2nd round pick running back TJ Yeldon fractured his hand at training camp, last night undoubted star player defensive end Julius Thomas fractured his hand in the 23-21 victory over the Steelers

Positives are that we appear to have something that resembles an offence now, both running and protection.

3rd pre season game is the one that most starters play 3 quarters...ish.

These early games are for the guys further down the depth chart hoping to get on the roster.

Whahoooooo! Bengals win, Super Bowl here we come! :moo:

Really seems like the year of the training camp brawl. Hearing reports every day of some kind of altercation with the Jets one being by far the worst
