Sadly that will just buy a few cart horses. 2.5 Ulloas? Two MaCormacks? Two Shane Long's. 1.5 Zahas (give me strength). Football is disappearing up its own backside

Or 16 Martin Kelly's.

You're right about the way the game is going, but there is some value out there, you just have to find it. For what it's worth, I am desperately hopeful that a chunk of our "warchest" is spent on bringing Wilfried home.

The £25m includes wages as well as transfer fees. Looking at the shopping list, it seems like they need the same sort of players we do.

Left back, striker and a winger? That's what we need. Mackay is not official yet, yes betting has been suspended but then it was 2 days ago when everyone knew it was Sherwood coming in. I suspect if it is MacKay he'll do an OK job and we'll be aiming for 17th which anyone who's seen us at the likes of Donnie would have been aiming for as well (i.e. not the newbies/plastics that want us getting European football within 2 seasons).

Whilst he's clearly a decent manager, I'm not convinced he'll keep them up. When they signed Pulis, that was a blow, because if anyone is going to avoid relegation, he's the man, as he proved.

Will make Tan's decision look even worse if he does do well.

Still no £50 Remf bets that Palace stay up???:bla::nono: No matter how many times I offer the bet just like last season none of you have the Cojones to step up.
The bright side I suppose is if we do go down we get to come to humilate you at the Amex again or beat you again in a play off semi or even a play off better final :D
Lets face it it's unlikely we'll play you in the prem is it?

Pm me if you want the £50 Remf am that confident we'll stay up I will take two bets or one at £100

Being reported this has hit a snag as he cant reach an agreement on backroom staff.

Malky doesn't want Millen and Garner (current caretaker/assistant manager and 1st team coach) in his set up as he wants to bring in some of his own back room staff. Palace would face exactly the same situation with Tim Sherwood. If they opt for Billy Davies he'll roll over to whatever Parish wants management wise as long as he gets his sticky little fingers on the transfer funds.

Malky definately out of the running moved on to other targets. Millen will take charge tomorrow.
