It was certainly my film of the year, although I haven't seen all the others!

I'm 43, so the Iranian hostage crisis was the very first world news story I was aware of, making the film all the more special for me.

Daniel Day-lewis greatest British actor ever?

Can we consider someone as British when they say they 'feel' Irish. I don't understand why he 'feels' this, he was born in England, his famous father chose British nationality above Irish and his mother was English. Of course he has every right to be what he wants but I can't 'feel' the same way about him winning an oscar as I would for someone who is British, although I have no problem with him winning.
