Look at all the GC riders coming in together. Waiting for the last 500 metres to put in a sprint.

Gutless.

Agree. The rest of the GC were stupid. They seemed to just be waiting for Froome to make an error. Just shows how good Froome is at the moment.

I think you're nearer the mark with money Ty.

The other GC riders just couldn't put the likes of Poels to bed, before they could even attack Froome.
I'm not holding that against them.

If Bardet had half an eye on the top spot of the podium he would have been alone riding against 9 men, and they would have eaten him for breakfast.

Better to go down fighting than sitting back doing nothing.

Meintjes as an example was only 2 minutes behind Yates, he also was far enough time wise behind Froome he could have made an attack to try for the white. Did nothing.

Valverde could have had a crack at leaping Porte.

They get paid shitloads to race, not sit on someones wheel and cruise into the line.

Hopefully Team Sky can snatch Pantano out from Trek in order to strengthen their chances of a 4th Froomey yellow.

Tomorrow, should I be posting while drinking champagne and riding around the lounge on Lil Miss Stat's bike?

Froome won on a flat finish after a long downhill descent. The Tourmalet was made a side note.

He attacked on the top.

Froome can only beat what's put in front of him.

As for the salary cap, it would be interesting, but doubt the riders would all agree. And when it comes to big money, where were the likes of BMC? Didn't show up.

The weather made it an evil stage today. Fair play to all of them ,even the awesome shadow.

Sagan has had a great year. He's worn the WC crown and delivered.

Unsurprisingly Sagan received the 'most combative rider of the tour' award, today.

In a change from the norm, just because it made me laugh:-

17 Wouter Poels (Ned) Team Sky
18 Geraint Thomas (GBr) Team Sky
19 Sergio Henao (Col) Team Sky
20 Christopher Froome (GBr) Team Sky
21 Mikel Nieve (Spa) Team Sky
22 Richie Porte (Aus) BMC Racing Team

Richie really needs to...

...let it go.

Ok chaps, so I can relax in front of the cricket highlights I'm going to give you all a nice heads up for bets to avoid tomorrow.
I left £7 in my account and that has gone to:-

£3 win Brain Cockhard @ 8/1
£1 ew Matthews @ 50/1 - He's hoovered up alpine points - why
£1 ew Groenewegen @ 25/1 - Just in case lightening strikes twice - 1066

There's no value in Kittel, Griepel or Kristoff.

There was a split second, in among the panic and confusion during that Ventoux farce, when I actually thought Little Richie was going to give the dawg his bike to continue on. The moment comes at precisely 2:33 in this video.
