I wouldn't be at all surprised if a bizarre cuddly toy arrives at Stat Towers very soon.
There's no way Cav would have had such a successful tour with my prognostications.

Nah I'm sorry, I've come over here with my 'geek' mentality.

Cav is only winning because 'lucky' Stat isn't tipping him to win.
Were I to be prognosticating a Cav win, he'd be rolling in 4th.

A truism underlined by my tipping Brain Cockhard for the opening stage, and him being placed for stage 2.

Has this Tour finally got to you as well and you haven't the heart to tell us we're in for another day of Sky soft pedalling at the front while the other GC teams watch each other?

Meanwhile, the break is 20 minutes up the road and a weasel like Majka wins the stage and polka dots while a lion like Sir Thomas of de Gendt buries himself trying to defend it.

If Team Sky can maintain their stranglehold on the other GC riders we could have a long week ahead of us.

Only delight from today for me is seeing Majka beaten like that. Still a default winner anyway considering Alaphilippe wins that stage had it not been for the mechanical.

Spartacus might want to retire in style tomorrow on home turf, but other than that I'm not really expecting much from this race now. Dull as dishwater edition.

Not enough undulation to keep the break away from the clutches of the sprint trains.
Certainly another 'day off for the GC riders'.
Lotto and more likely Katusha will be keen to open their accounts, with Kristoff getting ever closer.

The missile winning 4 stages has somewhat countered it being truly dull as dishwater, as well as Cummings brilliant breakaway.
